About Deb Puentes
Many in the industry know me as Debbie Lavdas, but I got wifed up recently by a handsome Geologist (who, yes, rocks)—and I’m now Deb Puentes. I started my career in Cincinnati in TV News and have since spent decades at some of the best ad agencies in Southern California, including INNOCEAN, Y&R, Wunderman and FCB. These days, I’m getting busy as Associate Creative Director at Traffik Global Advertising, in Irvine, CA.
My client list includes Land Rover, Jaguar, Lincoln, Hyundai, Oakley, Ray-Ban, Pacsun, Mattel, Hoag and Sony, as well as educational clients including Colorado Mesa University, University of Wyoming and healthcare-focused giants, such as Edwards Lifesciences. I work in all disciplines from TV and print to social, digital and experiential.
I’ve also done extensive magazine writing for various cover stories, wellness columns and endless travel features for CBS News/CBSLA.
